The cord is a double strand of marine line, the kind made to hold a sail in salt and sun. It dries in an hour and keeps its color. Shower in it, swim in it, rinse it, wear it to dinner.

Before you buy

Will it rust or tarnish?

No. 316L is the stainless grade used for boat fittings and watch cases. Salt water, sweat and showers do not mark it. Rinse it after the sea so the cord stays fresh.

Can I swim in it?

Yes. The cord is made for salt water and dries in about an hour. Rinse it in fresh water afterwards and let it dry open.

How do I know my size?

Wrap a strip of paper around your wrist just above the bone, mark where it meets, and measure it. The table under Find my size gives your size. Between sizes, take the larger. Size exchanges are free within 30 days.

How does the pin work?

The pin threads into the shackle. Unscrew it, pass the cord loop over the bow, and screw it back finger-tight. It takes about ten seconds and it will not open on its own. A spare pin is in the box.

What does made to order mean?

Some sizes and cords are made after you order. The date on the size chip is the day yours ships, tracked and free in the US. You can cancel any time before that day for a full refund.
